Our Services
Bath and Shampoo
In addition to a variety of Bark2Basics products, we use specialty shampoos as needed. Such shampoos include Skin Remedy Shampoo, Derma Treat, Espree Tea Tree Oil, and Aloe. These special shampoos are used at no extra cost to you. They help soothe irritated skin as they are mild, deep cleaning, yet not drying.
Bath, dry, brush, average de-matting, clean ears, trim pads, trim nails, dremmel/file nails, teeth brushed, breath spray, and external anal glands.
Grooming
Haircut, bath, dry, brush, average de-matting, clean ears, trim pads, trim nails, dremmel/file nails, and external anal gland expression.
Severely matted dogs may be referred to a veterinarian for shaving.
De-shedding
Some de-shedding naturally occurs during the bath and brush. For the additional results, add the FURminator service.
Nail clipping / Dremmeling
Dremmeling is included at no extra charge if the dog allows use of the dremmel.

The FURminator
We are an authorized shop for the FURminator treatment. The FURminator Treatment works by addressing your pets undercoat of fur. The undercoat can become a dense mass of loose fur which then sheds. Both short and long haired pets can benefit from the treatment. They will look and feel better. Within one to two treatments, the FURminator has been proven to reduce shedding up to 90%. The FURminator treatment can help allergy sufferers by reducing the amount of dander and airborne elements in the air.
Teeth Brushing
Your dog’s teeth will be brushed using surgical gauze sponges. Our enzymatic, hydrogen peroxide tooth gel removes some tarter build up and fights bad breath without rinsing. Monthly teeth brushing does not equal or replace the benefits of consistant teeth brushing at home or the cleaning that your veterinarian can provide. Please talk to your veterinarian to determine your dog’s teeth care needs.
